Verizon is the carrier we stock most of. A Verizon proxy is a physical modem holding a Verizon SIM in a named place — traffic sent through it leaves the network the way any phone on that mast does, carrying the carrier's own address rather than a hosting range.
We have sent real traffic through these devices and read the exit back: a Houston licence answers from AS6167, Verizon Business, in Houston, Texas. That is the whole point of buying by carrier — the address a site sees is the one you chose, and it is checkable in a minute from your own machine.
Each device is yours for the term you buy. Nobody else holds the SIM, so the address does not carry someone else's history, and it does not change under you: you change it, either on demand or on the timer you set, no faster than every five minutes because that is the floor the carrier enforces.
