Residential Proxies

What are residential proxies?

A residential proxy sends your request out through an IP address that an internet provider assigned to a real home connection. To the site receiving it, the visit looks like a person on a domestic line rather than a machine in a rack

which is why this type still works on targets that reject datacenter addresses on sight.

Our pool is 40 million addresses across 195+ countries, contributed by people who agreed to carry the traffic. Targeting goes down to a country, a region, a city or a specific carrier network.

Sessions rotate on every request or hold still for several minutes. HTTP(S) and SOCKS5 both work, and the bill is per gigabyte at $2.40 — no monthly minimum, nothing to commit to.

How residential proxies work

Your request reaches our gateway, which picks an exit from the pool in the location you asked for and forwards the request from there. The reply comes back the same way. From your code it is one proxy address; behind it the actual exit changes according to the session rule you set.

Rotating means a different address on every request — a thousand pages read by a thousand apparent visitors, which is what a wide crawl wants.

Sticky holds one address for several minutes, which is what a login or a checkout needs: a session that changes country between two clicks is the easiest thing in the world to flag.

Authenticate with a username and password or by whitelisting your server's IP. Geo-targeting travels in the credentials rather than in your code, so pinning a country or a city is a string change, not a rewrite.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you need to know about proxya

$2.40 per gigabyte, with volume applied automatically: 5% from 10 GB, 10% from 100 GB and 30% from 1000 GB, which brings it to $1.60. There is no monthly fee, so the monthly cost is whatever you transfer — light scraping runs a few dollars a month, and a heavy crawl runs hundreds.

One gigabyte. There is no monthly minimum, no plan to subscribe to and nothing to cancel: top up a couple of dollars, use what you use, and the balance keeps. That is deliberate — most of this category starts at a $50 or $100 commitment.

In most jurisdictions, yes — a proxy is infrastructure. What determines legality is what you do with it: collecting public data, verifying ads and researching prices are ordinary commercial activities, while bypassing authentication, breaching terms you accepted or harvesting personal data against privacy law are not, and the proxy does not change that.

From an ethically sourced pool: the people whose devices carry the traffic opted in knowingly, are compensated, and can withdraw at any time. That provenance is worth more than it sounds — pools assembled by hiding an SDK inside a free app are the ones detection vendors document, and addresses from them get flagged as a group.

Rotating for scale — a new address on every request, which is what a wide crawl wants. Sticky when a task needs one identity for several minutes: a login, a cart, a checkout. Changing IP mid-session is one of the clearest bot signals there is.

Residential addresses belong to real home connections, so a site that inspects the ASN sees a household; datacenter addresses come back as a hosting company. Residential survives strict anti-bot systems that reject datacenter outright, but costs roughly a hundred times more per request and is slower. Use datacenter wherever the target does not check.

Yes, under their industry name — ISP proxies. Same residential ASN, but one fixed address that stays yours for the term and is billed per proxy with unmetered traffic instead of per gigabyte. That is the right product for account work; this one is for coverage and volume.

Yes — 195+ countries, down to a region, a city or a named carrier network, and you can mix locations without buying separate plans. The targeting travels in the credentials, so switching country is a string change rather than a code change.

Treat them as unsafe by default. Somebody is paying for that bandwidth, and if it is not you, the usual arrangements are logging your traffic, injecting into it, or reselling your own connection as an exit — which puts strangers' requests behind your address. A gigabyte here costs $2.40.

Latency in the hundreds of milliseconds, because the traffic crosses somebody's home line, and requests that die mid-flight when a device goes offline — build in retries. And the IP is only one signal: a residential address behind an obviously automated browser still gets caught.
